Trip to Museum Listrik (Electricity Museum)

At Museum Listrik (Electricity Museum), I found many interesting objects and things, such as:

Versatile Burner

The oldest first Indonesian made generator power station

And many other interesting things, such as Hydroelectric power station. From the knowledge i gain here, now i know the history of the electricity power and now i know how to conserve energy in my daily life, now i also know what to do if someday we ran out of energy and fossil fuels.

Trip to IPTEK (Science Center)

On my field trip, i went to IPTEK (Ilmu Pengetahuan dan Teknologi) or Science Center. There, I did and experimented with many things including fires, air pressure, electromagnet, simple battery, and other things there.

There I learned many things. I learned that substances in sugar can be burned if flamed, soap cannot be burned, and simple things lie coins, aluminum foil, filtering sheet, and vinegar can produce electricity.

Learning these things are important to gain our knowledge and also apply it to our daily lives.

Here are the steps to make a simple battery i learned from IPTEK:
1. Put a coin.

2. Put a dipped filtering sheet on top of the coin.

3. Put a small-cutted aluminum foil on top of the stack.

4. Repeat this activity and then measure the strength of the electricity produce (volt) with an avometer.
